Cire Trudon Louis XIV Bust

1 in stock

Cire Trudon’s tribute to the Sun King, Louis X1V is impressive. The king, a proud, contemptuous look on his face, was immortalized in a sculpture by Fran?ois Girardon (1699), the ?Louis XIV ? cheval? took centre stage in Place Vend?me before the statue was raised to the ground, in 1792, during the French revolution. Today a resident of the Mus?e du Louvre, the bust still stands tall, reproduced in a smaller scale. An iconic royal figure and messenger of ?l?art ? la fran?aise?, Louis XIV now looks over Cire Trudon?s collection of busts.

It adds a regal air to every home.
